VIPBOX LOCKS

Keeping your security

Your new TSA-approved combination padlock is preset to 0-0-0, even if the dials are currently set to different numbers. You can change and reset the combination as often as needed.

Be sure to store your combination in a safe, accessible place for future reference. This lock is recognized by the U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and allows TSA agents to open your bag using special tools and access codes if a baggage search is required. Afterward, they can relock it without causing any damage to the lock or your bag.

Step 1
Start by removing the zipper pulls from the lock and making sure every digit on your dial is set in the preset starting code at 0-0-0.
Step 2
Make sure zipper pulls are securely in place in their housing within the locking mechanism.
Step 3
Apply pressure with a ballpoint pen to the small circular divot in the center of the lock, continuing to hold it as you adjust each number on your 3-digit dial.
Step 4
When you have fully secured each number of your code, you may release your ballpoint pen’s pressure on the lock’s divot hole.
Step 5
Push the middle square down to release. Now you have correctly set your lock!
